Thursday, October 2

As most of you know I just got back from vacation in Yosemite National Park and San Francisco. I would highly recommend both of these places if you have a chance to go. The scenery in the park was amazing and it’s one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen and San Francisco has all sorts of great things to see and eat. Both places are made for walking so you can enjoy them up close and experience them first hand. Of course, this made me consider my fitness and that of those around me. Luckily I come from an active family that enjoys getting outdoors and moving. I can’t imagine not being able to experience the beauty and wonder of these places because I was too tired or couldn’t get around. When I get to experience amazing places I am always happy I have a basic level of fitness that allows me to enjoy them to the fullest. We went on hikes, climbed rocks and trudged up the steep hills of San Fran and although I was tired at the end of the day, it was all worth it. There are few better reasons to be healthy and fit than being able to enjoy the experiences the world has to offer. Consider your fitness and what it allows you to do and remember to get out and enjoy the world!
