Registration for the CrossFit Open begins January 15. This is the beginning of the CrossFit Games season and can be a great way for you to test your fitness. The Open takes place over five weeks and each week you perform one workout and submit your score. The top 20 men and women from each region move on to CrossFit Regionals. There are also divisions for masters (over 40), teens and scaled athletes this year. There’s a team element as well and everyone of you can be a part of the 616 team.

The workouts we have been doing have been specifically designed to prepare you for the Open and we will continue on this path for the next few months. If you aren’t interested in the Open that is ok too, just think of this prep phase as a different period in your yearly training which is segmented to get you as fit as possible.
