As most of you know by now, Andrea Andersen has been diagnosed with cancer, and she is just beginning her fight against this terrible disease. A lot of you have already started helping the Andersens by babysitting, making meals or just checking in with them and that is great. If you want to help but aren’t sure how, there is a Facebook group called Supporting the Andersens, which can be found here. That page will be updated with as much information we have on how to help. I know there is already a Meal Train set up so we can help take the load off by making meals for them. More information is on the Facebook group page.

We will be hosting an event at the gym on Saturday, July 25 to raise money and awareness for Andrea, John and Graham. We don’t have all of the details down, but we will workout, cookout, watch the CrossFit Games and have some fun together while supporting this amazing family. Please put this date in your calendar now. We will probably workout around the normal class time at 9:30 and then have the rest of the day to hangout.

Also, there is a Go Fund Me page set up to help them with the financial burden. If you can help at all please donate on that page. We are working on some more ways to raise money, but for now, all donations should go through that page.
