Weekly Roundup! Here’s some of the stuff I saw this week:

1. Another edition of don’t believe everything you hear. Nutrition is such a confusing topic for so many of us. There’s so much conflicting information and misinformation out there that is seems impossible to keep it all straight. You know what we say – eat real food, but there are people that don’t care about the truth and are just looking for a good story – like the national media. Some “scientists” made up a study about chocolate helping you lose weight just to prove this point and the study went viral, quickly. Watch the video for the full story.


3. And, just for a little workout inspiration

Workout for Friday, August 7
Open Workout 15.2
Every 3 minutes for as long as possible complete:
From 0:00-3:00
2 rounds of:
10 overhead squats (95 / 65 lb.)
10 chest-to-bar pull-ups
From 3:00-6:00
2 rounds of:
12 overhead squats (95 / 65 lb.)
12 chest-to-bar pull-ups
From 6:00-9:00
2 rounds of:
14 overhead squats (95 / 65 lb.)
14 chest-to-bar pull-ups
Continue pattern until unable to complete the 2 rounds in 3 min.
If you cannot complete the round, the WOD becomes a 15 min AMRAP.
Continue to complete pattern in AMRAP without the rest.

Use remaining class time to work on a skill you need to work on.
