The Open is just days away and there is still time to join the CrossFit 616 team! Make sure you join the affiliate AND the team when you sign up. If you didn’t join the team we can show you how to go back and add yourself!

If you are doing the Open you’ll want to plan your week properly to give you the best chance on each workout. You don’t need to change a lot, but you do want to be feeling good on the day you do the workout.

We will find out the workout each week on Thursday night around 8-8:30 pm. So most of us will do the workout at Friday Night Lights starting at 5:30 pm each week.

This might mean you’ll take a rest day on Thursday or go a little easier on Thursday so you’re not blown out and sore on Friday. Also remember that we have to guess a little each week on what to do Mon-Thurs and we may be repeating a movement on Friday. As the Open goes on this gets a little easier to program around.

Anyway, make sure you are rested and ready to go each week. If you need to adjust your rest days and sleep please try to do it. This is a test of where you are in your fitness so you want as accurate picture as possible.

Also remember that we will not have 9:30 or 10:30 am classes on Saturday during the Open. We will be running heats of the Open workout from 9:30 am to 11:30 am.

We will still have Elements and Weightlifting at 8:15 am.
