People do CrossFit for a lot of different reasons and that is great. It's also great that it is an effective program for all of those reasons. If you want to lose weight, change your body composition, get stronger, get faster or just fitter in general, CrossFit (including the recommended nutrition) works. Some of you may be interested in CrossFit as a sport as well. There are always competitions happening and I think it would be awesome for you to compete as an individual or as team. There are a lot of skills to work on, but it's a great way to test your fitness and have some fun. For any of you that were athletes in high school or college, CrossFit is a great way to release some of those competitive juices again. Anyway, this all leads me to the video below - highlights from the 2011 CrossFit Games. The CrossFit Open is coming up and this video really gets me fired up. If you have no interest in competing in CrossFit that is cool with me, but it's still pretty awesome to see these athletes crush WOD after WOD. Now that you have tried a few WODs yourself, you know how impressive this is. Check it out, hopefully, whatever your reason for CrossFitting, this will get you motivated to get to the gym and give it all you've got.
