One of the things I love about CrossFit is that we get to workout as a group. Not just a bunch of people in a room doing the same stuff, but we really are pushing each other and helping each other along the way. I love to see you all push yourselves to lift more and go faster and the improvements we have seen are amazing. I also love how the group is so diverse, with girls and guys and young and a little older working out side by side doing the same thing. I know we have people at different fitness levels and some are stronger than others, but when the clock starts you can't tell. Everyone is going all out and working just as hard as the person next to them. Don't get discouraged if you aren't doing RX'd weights, the intensity is there - I can see it. Now for those of you who love a challenge, here's a little inspiration for ya. Talayna Fortunato competed with the boys at a recent competition and didn't just hang around - she almost won the whole thing. She was in first going into the last WOD and it sounds like it was a pretty heavy prowler push that wasn't scaled quite right, but who cares, she took 3rd overall competing with games-level men. She did every WOD RX'd and the only thing that got scaled was the weight on the bar. Here's a video of her crushing a WOD and all of the men doing it.
