So if burpees are that hot girl you had a crush on in middle school, then you're about to relive the best game ever invented - 7 Minutes in Heaven (are we still allowed to play that?) Of course, if burpees are more like your middle school history teacher that smelled like moth balls, you're in for a long day. Either way, we're going to attack CrossFit Games Open WOD 1 with a vengeance. Don't go out too fast, 7 minutes is a long time. I expect some scores well above 100 reps for this one. Pace yourself, but keep moving. Just fall down and get back up. Here we go! Watch the demo with movement standards. Be familiar with this before you get to the gym tomorrow. We will be "no repping" and judging each other.

CrossFit Games Open Workout 1: 7 Minute AMRAP of Burpees

We will do this workout in heats, depending on how many we have tomorrow. We'll pair up and judge each other. Remember, the standards must be kept for the integrity of the contest and the gym.

If there is time after the heats, we will practice some skills. Whatever you want to do. Have something in mind that you want to practice and the coaches will help.
