I had an awesome time at the Central East Regionals this weekend in Columbus. Got to see some amazing performances from the likes of Rich Froning, Jr., Dan Bailey, Graham Holmberg, Julie Foucher, Lindsey Smith and more. I hope you were able to catch some of the workouts online. If not, I think the replay is still on ESPN3.com. Going to regionals is both inspiring and humbling at the same time. Just when you think you are getting strong enough, you see people throw around "heavy" weight like it's nothing. I don't know if I will ever make it to that level, but I am going to keep training like I have a chance. Even if you aren't interested at all in competition, seeing people give it their all and push themselves that hard has to make you want to work harder. Let's put in another good week of work and get ourselves one step closer to elite fitness!
