Exciting Changes at CrossFit 616!
We are excited to announce some changes at CrossFit 616. As most of you know, we are moving to the space next door, which means more room to workout, women's and men's bathrooms and extra room for changing clothes and hanging out. With the move, we are taking the opportunity to make a few other changes that we'd like to tell you about. First, we will be offering more class times! We are expanding our schedule to offer four classes a day Monday through Friday. Those class times are 6 a.m., 12 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. This expanded schedule gives you more chances to get to the gym and hopefully makes it easier for you to make CrossFit part of your daily routine.
There will also be a change to the Saturday workout, with a 10 a.m. beginners class and an 11 a.m. CrossFit WOD. The beginners class will be similar to our current Saturday class and will be a great way for new people to try CrossFit. The CrossFit WOD will be for members only and will feature more of the advanced movements you learn during the week, but will still be team or partner oriented much of the time. This gives us the option to push ourselves on Saturdays and get the most out of every workout.
We will also be offering an Olympic lifting class twice a week (times TBD), which will be taught and programmed by Kelly. Kelly has competed in multiple national lifting meets and has trained with some of the best lifters in the country. This is a very exciting opportunity to supplement your CrossFit training and make you a better athlete overall.
With the expanded schedule and larger space we have made some changes to the punchcard pricing. The 10-visit punchcard will now be $100 and the Saturday class will now count as a punch. However, with the expanded Saturday schedule you will still have the opportunity to have a "free" class. The 10 a.m. beginners class can be free to punchcard members if you bring a friend with you that has not previously visited CrossFit 616. Both the 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. classes will be open to all members.
The only way to improve, lose weight, get stronger, faster, healthier etc... is to eat right and get in the gym. Those of you that are doing this have seen the results and know it is true. We want to grow CrossFit 616 with more classes, new equipment and better coaching to help you reach your fitness goals, expand our community and make a better gym.
