It's time to start putting some work in outside of the gym to prep your body. If you have mobility issues you need to be spending some serious time every day hitting them. And, if you check this blog to see the workout each day, you can prep yourself for the workout to come. Today we are deadlifting so let's make sure our bodies are in the best mechanically advantageous position. You can do most of this at home, but as always, please come in early to work on this stuff before class. Remember that the Wednesday 6:30 pm and the Saturday noon classes are Olympic weightlifting. There is a meet coming up on Saturday, August 4 and this class will be a great progression if you are interested in competing. Testing yourself in a competition setting is great and can really show you what you need to work on. If you are interested in competing, please let us know so we can make sure you are ready.
