Do you ever wonder why you eat right and workout? Would it be easier to sit around on the coach and eat ice cream every day? Well, I don't know if easier is the right word, but it might take less time. Either way, I don't want to do it. There are a lot of reasons I eat a paleo/primal diet and workout the way I do and I came across this article that sums most of them up better than I can. Check out this post from Mark's Daily Apple on why he follows the Primal Blueprint. If none of these reasons are good enough for you, I'd like to hear why. I think everyone wants to be healthier, fitter and look a little better. Of course, it takes a little work, but isn't it worth it? And honestly, most of us spend about five hours a week at the gym. That's nothing when you consider the benefits. Just don't waste those five hours by eating junk. If you haven't given the paleo/primal diet a try go for it and see how you feel. Try it out for at least a month to give your body time to adjust and see if it makes a difference in your health, daily energy and performance in the gym. Here's the list - read the article for explanations 1. I’m lazy. 2. I love good food. 3. I like to play. 4. I like to sleep. 5. I don’t like being sick. 6. I’m vain (I want to look good naked). 7. I like to be tan (vain part 2). 8. I’m not organized. 9. I want to stay uninjured. 10. I like certainty.
