We switched to the new schedule on June 1 and so far it has been a great success. We love to have multiple options every day for you to workout and we love that more and more people are joining our community at CrossFit 616! To help integrate the new people the best way possible, we are starting a scheduled foundations course for all new members. The foundations course will be three days of learning our core movements followed by a great workout. The classes will be held on Monday and Thursday from 6-7 pm and Saturday from 11:30 am -12:30 pm. If you recently joined we may ask you to come to those foundations classes to help get you up to speed if there are things we haven't been able to cover with you one-on-one. The weekday classes will be held during the 5:30 and 6:30 CrossFit classes, so you can see a typical class while learning the basics. The Saturday class schedule is going to be rearranged a little to accommodate this class and the new Olympic lifting cycle. The beginner workout on Saturday will now be at 11:30 am and will include the foundations for those that need it.

This foundations course starts next week - August 6. So that means next Saturday, August 11 we will have CrossFit at 10:30 am and Beginner CrossFit at 11:30. If you can not make these scheduled class times, you will need to set up a separate time with Coach Kelly. Her contact information is available at the gym.

There are a few more minor changes coming, and we'll let you know about them in the next couple of days.

The foundations class will be $50, which can be applied to a monthly membership once you complete the course. If you choose the punchcard option, each foundations class will count as one punch.
