I really love the community we have built here and I get excited every time someone joins us. The CrossFit community is one of the things that really sets us apart from other fitness programs. We focus first on technique and training, but the camaraderie of the group is a close second (maybe a tie). You guys do such a great job of keeping each other on track and helping each other improve. If you are reading this and aren't a part of our community, join us and see what I'm talking about. With that being said, we're going to start doing some more things together outside of the gym. The first event we have planned is a Beach WOD on Saturday, August 25. We will head to Grand Haven in the morning and put together a WOD involving the water, sand and a little equipment. After the WOD we will stick around for some food and drinks and get to know each other a little better. (I know a couple of you can't make this date, but I promise we'll do something again soon.) The normal Saturday schedule will be put on hold for this day. Only the one WOD on the beach! More details to come.

Hope to see you all there and if you have suggestions for future get togethers, please let us know. We want to start doing these on a regular basis.
