Today we are going longer with the WOD, but we want to get some skill and strength work in too, so please keep moving in class. The snatch practice is just practice. Don't worry about how heavy you go, just focus on quality of movement. We're going to do WOD 5 from the 2011 Games. We've done a shorter version of this before, but this will be a good test for your conditioning. Remember to work on pacing and don't go too fast out of the gate. Nice steady movement will get you a long way in this workout. Check out the video on this page from the old games site. The flash video doesn't work for me, but there are links on the right side of the page for quicktime and windows. He sets a nice plan for this WOD and sticks to it. You might think a guy like this could blow through everything unbroken, but he purposely breaks up the toes to bar and it looks like a good strategy for him.
