We had a great time hanging out with everybody Saturday night! Hopefully we can do it again soon. If you have ideas on what we should do next let us know. Congrats again to the winners of the Paleo Challenge. Amy Seng took 1st, Meghan took 2nd and Sarah came in third. All of you that submitted journals did really well with the eating part. The difference in points came from the other stuff, like getting enough sleep or water every day. It seems like getting enough sleep was the hardest part for everyone. Remember that your body needs time to recover and you will not see results in your workouts or body changes if you are not getting proper recovery. So listen to your body and take a day off if you need it, especially if you have a hard time getting enough sleep each night. Great job by everyone and even if you didn't win one of the prizes, I think you all made some lasting changes and hopefully you will continue to eat real, good food. In case you weren't there Saturday night, we made an announcement that we will be hosting a competition on April 27-28. The competition will be at the Delta Plex in conjunction with a national powerlifting meet and a strongman competition. The basics of our competition are a weightlifting meet followed by two CrossFit WODs. Men will go on Saturday and women on Sunday. We will reserve a few spots for our members and we will also be looking for as much help as possible to judge/volunteer. More details to come!
