Leading up to the first Open workout we're going to try to refine some of your skills and work on how to do some movements faster. Today we are working on pullups. We will take time to practice both types of kipping pullups and hopefully, those of you that are close to figuring these out can get over the hump. If you aren't to the point of kipping yet, we will work on pullup strength and introduce the movement to you so you know what you're working towards. Here's a couple of videos to get you started. Yes, there are different ways of teaching/doing the kip. This is more of a gymnastics approach with little to no hip flexion. We will talk about both.
