Don't forget to sign up for the Open! The first workout will be announced Wednesday night and it will be the scheduled workout for Friday. You can sign up here, and when you do, make sure you join our affiliate and team. Since we will do the workout on Friday, and you'll want to be at your best, you should plan your rest accordingly. This probably means taking Thursday as a rest day or a light mobility and recovery day. This week leading up to the first workout will be important for you as well. We are still scheduling normal WODs, but we're recommending you don't go all out on them. Use Monday to Wednesday to practice and keep your skills up, but this should be treated as a deload/recovery week before the first workout. The percentages will be lower on the strength work and even if there's a little longer workout, you should take it easy and maybe cut the time down. A deload week will be good for all of you that have been going strong since the new year, even if you're not competing in the Open.
