Memorial Day Murph. This workout can be grueling, but a lot of fun, however I urge you to remember the reason we are doing it. I posted the video with Lt. Murphy's story below so you can learn more about the person this workout is named after, but it's not just about him. He represents the hundreds of thousands of people that have put their lives on the line defending our freedom. We do this workout to honor all of them. This workout is long and hard because we want to begin to feel what it is like to suffer. We want to push hard because of what these men and women have done for us. It doesn't matter if you do a full Murph with 20 lb. vest or you do 1/4 of it, as long as you push hard and sacrifice your comfort for a while to honor them. Please don't forget the meaning of Memorial Day and this workout. As you get tired, try to push a little harder than you might normally.
