Saw this pushup scaling option today and I like it. We have been working the negative on the pushup for a while so I think we will try the ring option shown in the video now. For those of you that struggle with pushups, this will give you the full range of motion and you will have to keep your body tight so it will translate to full scale pushups soon. Take a look and let me know what you think. Please note, his elbows are out a little further than we like at the beginning of this video, but he does keep his shoulders in external rotation. Keeping your elbows in helps keep the shoulder safe and loaded properly.
