You guys know that we obsess over correct movement and you probably get a little tired of us harping on it all the time. But when it comes to correct, safe movement we aren't willing to compromise. It sucks to spend minutes or hours a day mobilizing, but it is probably one of the most beneficial things you can do. If you are having trouble with a movement like a squat, overhead squat, snatch, etc... you need to find out where the problem lies and fix it. Moving well for the sake of moving well should be good enough, but that probably doesn't sell extra mobility work to everyone. However, if I tell you you can PR every lift and improve your WOD times simply by moving better would you be more interested. Look, if you aren't moving well you may be able to get through things for now, but that is a recipe for injury in the near future. We don't want you getting hurt and you shouldn't either. Take care of your issues. Here's a video from Mobility WOD creator Kelly Starrett explaining the principals of good movement. This is just a part of an online series, but it's worth watching. I know it's long, but if you have time watch it. I think this might help you understand things better and get you moving better.
