OK, for all of you that signed up for the beginner's competition on November 10, we will have a meeting next Wednesday, October 2. This will be very short to discuss who will be on teams and tell you what you need to do to prepare. Here's a hint on what you need to do to prepare - come to the gym and do CrossFit. Since no one knows what the workouts or movements are, the best way to prepare for a CrossFit comptition is by doing CrossFit consistently and with 100% effort every time you are in the gym. This doesn't mean you need to train every day or do anything extra right now. As the event gets closer and the announce the movements we can plan some specific prep. For now, keep doing what you are doing. We will have a morning meeting and an evening meeting since I know you all won't be able to make it at one time. This will last around 10 minutes and it will immediately follow the morning class and the 5:30 pm class. Bring any questions you may have and we will do our best to answer them. Remember, this isn't our event and we don't have any inside info so we'll do our best. Trust the programming and coaching and you will do fine. There is still a lot of time between now and November 10!
