You know we are encouraging you all to sign up for the Open if you feel ready. It's not just about competing against all the other CrossFitters in the world. The Open can be a yearly test of ourselves and can give us a snapshot of where we are in our fitness journey. Then we can look back over the years and see where we have come. Someone asked the other day if anyone competes in CrossFit that used to be overweight and the answer is yes! I don't know the backstory for every CrossFit athlete, but there are people every day completely changing their lives and doing things they never thought possible. Of course, it takes time and you have to be patient and dedicated to the task at hand, but it will happen. The video below shows a few examples of people that have made amazing strides in the past year and are now ready to compete in the Open. From overweight, to no-pullups, to scared, people are conquering their fears and surprising themselves. Where do you want to be in a year? Will you be able to look back a year from now and see a major difference? If you are willing to put in the work, anything is possible and I am excited to help you get there.
