The CrossFit Open begins next week! The first workout will be announced on Thursday, February 27 and it will be the scheduled WOD for the next day. We would love to get everyone together that has signed up to do the Open to compete at the same time to help motivate each other. The official time for that will be Friday evening at 5:30 pm. We will start heats around 5:30 and keep them going until everyone has completed the WOD. We'd love to have as many of you here as possible each Friday during the open to compete and cheer on your fellow teammates. Even if you don't sign up or don't want to compete, we would love your support and we'd love to have you do the workout with us. If you haven't signed up for the Open yet go to to register. Make sure you choose 616 as the affiliate and that you join the team.

Since the workouts are announced Thursday evening at 8 pm eastern we will not be able to program around the WOD on the days leading up. With that in mind, Thursday may be a good rest day for you if you are competing. There's always the possibility of us programming the same thing as the Open workout the day before. If you do sign up, you will need to complete the workout and submit your score by the following Monday evening at 8 pm. We will validate all of the scores online.
