Get Strong First! Let's be honest, most of us didn't join a gym or start working out just to get as strong as possible. It probably had more to do with looking good than anything else, and that is ok. So why should we focus on getting stronger? Well, because all of those other goals we have - looking good naked, playing sports, living life - are much easier to attain when we get strong. Check out the article from Juggernaut by Jen Keck on how being strong helped her do all of the other things in her life better, including that pole dancing class. She breaks it down into three categories - physique and performance, gains (getting a bigger but as she says), and making life easier (my favorite). Hopefully you will see the importance of strength training and you can embrace it.
