The last week of Regionals wrapped up on Sunday and the fields for the CrossFit Games are set. I love watching the sport of CrossFit to see what people are capable of accomplishing in the world of fitness. However, there is a major difference in the sport and the daily training most of us do. I encourage you to watch the Games to see what serious training can do, but don't let that intimidate you. These are essentially professional athletes that do CrossFit as their job and should be viewed as inspirational. CrossFit for most of us is a health and fitness program that works really well and keeps us moving and feeling good. Some people choose to take it to the next level and compete and there is extra work that goes along with that. Either way, everyone is doing CrossFit in some capacity and hopefully reaching his or her goals. If you'd like to compete, let us know and we can talk about what you need to do. If you just want to CrossFit every day to stay fit, that is awesome too! Here's a video of the final day of the South West Regional events if you'd like to watch some of the best in the world.
