Maybe it was just coincidence. Maybe it was the weather. But something was off at the gym on Wednesday. All of the classes throughout the day seemed (were) unusually small. Now, as coaches we pay attention to this sort of thing. And there seems to be only one logical conclusion. No one wanted to run. Like I said before, maybe it was just a coincidence, but we haven't seen a day this slow in a while. So, are you cherry picking workouts? Are you avoiding the things you don't like to do? If that's the case you are approaching this whole fitness thing all wrong. The biggest reason people don't like a particular movement we do is because they think they aren't good at it. The problem with this is that you never get better at the movement because you avoid it, don't practice it and have a negative attitude towards it. We're all going to have things we like more than others, but the only way to get better at the things we hate is to practice. The best part is that with practice comes improvement and then those things that seemed so terrible aren't any more. You've just filled a major gap in your fitness.
Maybe I'm wrong, and it just happened to be a slow day. If so, I apologize, but that doesn't take anything away from what I said above. If you want to get better at CrossFit or anything, you can not avoid the things you need to work on. Running (or any other movement) isn't that hard to improve; all you have to do is do it and I promise you will get better.
