Monday, August 18

I was watching a show today that followed an NFL team during its training camp and I started to think about what it meant to be on a team. I was watching the individuals sacrifice for each other and only worry about their common goal rather than worry about what they could personally accomplish. I had the pleasure of attending two weddings this weekend for 616 members and a realized how important teamwork can be. Watching Brandon and Lindsey and Jeanna and Kyle commit to each other only strengthened my faith in the bonds we form as beings on this earth. I am so happy to see these couples commit publicly to serve each other and work together to make each other better. I can only hope that we all can do that for each other every day.

I consider our 616 family my team. I realize that I not only put in the hard work each day for myself, but to help each of us get better, and your hard work in the gym returns the favor. I can't thank you enough for that. I hope that all of you realize that you are a part of a team and that we are all here to support each other and to improve the lives of those around us.

Congratulations to Brandon, Lindsey, Jeanna, and Kyle on their marriages. I am sure your new teams will bring you great joy and happiness for years to come.
