Remember that this Saturday night we will have our Holiday Party from 7-10 pm at the gym. There will be some food and drink provided, but feel free to bring anything you want. Also, there is still time to sign up for the in-house competition on January 31. The sign up sheet is on the table by the front door.

Now, here is a great video of Christmas Abbott training with Eleiko's head coach in Sweden. He has a great approach for teaching the snatch and this process can be applied to any movement. Notice, that this is very time consuming and takes great dedication and mental toughness. It's probably more mental than physical and you can only proceed once you are performing the movement well enough. The great part is that she has to decide if she did it well enough. Check out the video and notice how her focus sharpens as the workout goes on.
