We love to workout because it makes us feel good and we know it's good for our health, but for a lot of us, we want our bodies to look good too. There's nothing wrong with working out to look a certain way, and let's face it, if you're happy with your body, you're going to be happier in general. So, how do we get that body we want. Well working out helps, but everyone knows that abs are made in the kitchen and not the gym. That means what you eat is much more important when it comes to losing weight and fat and putting on muscle.

I've read a couple of good articles lately about calories and what to eat and I'll post them below, but first check out this story that shows what and how much people eat from all over the world. Notice how different the calorie counts are and notice what types of food they're eating. Then take a look at each person's body composition (how much body fat). Makes me think that the types and quality of food may be more important that simply calories in and calories out.
