As the CrossFit Games season approaches we're going to see a lot more video of the top athletes doing amazing things. Then, we're all going to compete against these people in the CrossFit Open and be able to directly compare our scores to them. One thing to remember is that those people at the top are professional CrossFitters. It can be easy to get discouraged when you see some of these amazing scores or lifts, but I'd rather see you get inspired.

Think about your athletic heroes when you were young. When you watched Michael Jordan play basketball did that make you want to go out and play or did you decide you'd never play basketball because you couldn't be as good as him. Hopefully, you choose to play and you were inspired by the greats.

For some reason, as we get older that becomes more difficult. I think we are just too hard on ourselves. Celebrate your accomplishments without comparing them to others.

He's a full-time CrossFit coach and athlete and he puts in the work (and has put in the work for many years) to be at the top. It's always nice to see how hard the top athletes work and hopefully you get inspired to take your training to a new level.
