It's finally here! Running season at 616. That's right, the weather is finally going to allow us to get outside and run a little. We're going to ease into it with some 400s today and we're leaving plenty of time for some rolling out after the workout. If it's been a while since you have run, please take care of your calves, feet, IT bands, etc... after the workout. Running is a skill we should all possess. I know some of you (us) don't love it, but it's something we all should be able to do to some degree.

The thing about running is that if you do it you will get better at it. And once you get better at it, you won't hate it so much.

Work on your running technique and do the maintenance work on your body after the run and I promise it won't be that bad.

Please dress appropriately for the workout tomorrow. It may be chilly in the morning and evening so bring the right stuff to wear.

And don't stress about it. Everyone has their favorite movements, but doing the things you find difficult are what make you grow as an athlete and a person. Just focus on technique and breathing and you will get through it and be better for it!
