Don't forget that we are on our new summer Saturday schedule starting this week. That means we have Elements at 8:30 am and just one CrossFit class at 9:30 am. You DO need to sign up in advance for the 9:30 CrossFit class.
CrossFit developed a model called the Sickness, Wellness, Fitness Continuum. You can see it on the table below. This model shows that being physically (and mentally, emotionally, etc.) fit gives you a barrier of protection against being sick. In fact, if you are fit, you must pass through simply being well before you reach being sick. Fitness is like being super healthy - that includes exercise and proper nutrition.
It is never too late to start getting fit. You can always move yourself on this continuum - hopefully in the right direction. But even if you are going the wrong way, you can stop right now and make a change. Check out the video below with 63-year-old Peter Glatz who has just re-started his fitness journey with CrossFit. Anyone can do this if they put their mind to it.
