For those of you that struggle with toes to bar, watch the video below for some progressions and tips. Remember, you need lat engagement (active shoulders) and you need to actively pull your feet and legs back down to keep your kip going. If you just relax after you touch your toes to the bar you will find yourself swinging out of control.

As always, these tips are great and can get you over the hump if you are close, but these movements still require a certain level of strength that can't be faked. If you need stronger lats then you have to put in the work to get there before any efficiency tips will help.
