This is an off week for the Weightlifting class (no class Thursday or Saturday). We maxed out last week and will take one week off to rest up for the new cycle, which begins Thursday, September 15.


We will host our annual Barbells for Boobs event on Saturday, October 29! This will be our fourth year supporting this charity that provides breast cancer detection methods to those who don't qualify through their insurance or healthcare provider.

We're going to make October 29 a big day by wrapping a few things into one. CrossFit 616's first day open was October 3, 2011 so we will be celebrating our fifth anniversary! The plan is to workout in the morning and have a big pot-luck lunch after. More details on the exact time frame to come.

And since it will almost be Halloween, we're going to do the fundraiser workout in costume!

The workout for Barbells for Boobs is Grace - 30 clean and jerks for time. Let your friends and family know that you will be doing this workout to raise money and awareness for this cause. Feel free to send out the link to everyone you know so we can generate as much money as possible.
