Ben Bergeron is the owner of CrossFit New England and the coach to top CrossFit athletes across the world, including reigning champs Katrin Davidsdottir and Mat Fraser. In his latest video blog is on Daily Discipline he talks about setting goals and how to achieve them. Here's the thing - it's not about the goal. It's about the process.

We've talked about this with a few of you as you were setting your goals for 2017. In fact, it's written on the Goals whiteboard. You have to have a plan to get you to your goal. That is what matters. The daily commitment to the work will get you to the endpoint.

Commit to the process.

Goals should be behavior oriented - "I'm going to practice pull ups three days a week." Not end point oriented - "I want a pull up by June." The first one gives you control of the process and isn't an arbitrary date with no plan of action.
