As the Open begins this year I want you to consider what it means to be "successful." I love Coach Wooden's definition of success above. It's not about beating anyone else, qualifying for Regionals or getting any particular score. It's knowing that you did you best and through that having peace of mind.

How great is that? So simple, but we still hold ourselves to a different standard at times.

Please don't beat yourself up over your performance in each workout. Do your best and be proud of it. Your best right now might not be the same as what you could have done a year ago or what you may be able to do a year from now, but that does not matter.

"Do the best of which you're capable." Right now. Today.

I'm looking forward to doing these workouts with you all. The support of the community makes it easy to do your best and find peace of mind in that. Thanks in advance for lifting each other up and helping us all find true success during the Open.
