This Wednesday is Wednesday FriendsDay! Bring a friend to any class throughout the day to try CrossFit! It's running season in Michigan again and we are going to take advantage! Running seems to be one of those love it or hate it movements, but just like anything else we do, proper technique helps make you a better runner and hate it less.

Running correctly will make you more efficient, make you faster and will prevent injury or pain.

We're going to do some quick drills on running in class, but if you have ever dealt with pain from running make sure you are taking care of your feet/ankles/calves/etc to help mitigate any possible problems.

It's worth a few minutes before or after class to roll out your arches and calves and to do your stretches and mobility work to keep you pain free and running well.

Mainly, don't be scared of running. Just like anything else, the more you practice the better you'll get. Approach running just like any other skill we train and have a positive attitude towards improving and I promise it won't be that bad.
