If you are in one of the head-to-head matchups this week, we need your movement for the workout by Wednesday! Just tell one of the coaches so we can start planning the timeline and have equipment ready. 

Also, we will not have evening classes on Friday, but there will be Open Gym from 3-6 pm if you want to come in early.

Seven out of 10 people in America die from chronic disease. Chronic diseases are preventable. Eating the right foods and exercising is the cure. 

Most of you reading this are probably in the group of people that are really working hard to make the best choices, but we need to remember that the majority of Americans are not. We need to be the model for change. 

In the video below, Ben Bergeron breaks down different groups of people and how they approach nutrition and fitness and, unfortunately, most people are uninformed about diet and exercise. 

It's not about looking good, that's just a side effect of being healthy and making good choices. 

It doesn't matter if it's CrossFit or another exercise routine, you need to move. But you also need to eat the right foods to support your activity levels.

It seems so simple, but so many of us are getting it wrong. 

I'm not telling you to go out and preach to the masses, but you can be a good example in a world that seems to push the exact wrong choices. We need to be fighting for a change and ready to help those that want it. 

This isn't about judging, it's about really making a positive impact on our communities. If 70% of Americans are dying from diseases caused by their behavior, we need to act.
