You've noticed we've started doing some CrossFit Open-type workouts recently as we gear up for the annual competition that starts in February.
If you're not familiar with the Open, you can read all about it here. It's the worldwide CrossFit competition that is the first step in making it to the CrossFit Games. But don't worry, you don't need to think you're making it to the Games to participate in the Open. It's a great community event that pushes you and tests where you are in your fitness each year.
Anyway, every year in the Open we see skills pop up that are challenging for us - pull ups, muscle ups, handstand pushups, etc... And every year we all dedicate ourselves to getting better at those skill by the next Open.
So, have you gotten better? Have you been putting in the work each week to get you where you want to be?
DON'T WAIT UNTIL FEBRUARY!
If you've done the Open before, think back to what was hard for you and attack those weaknesses now!
