Weekly Roundup!

Here's a great article from the CrossFit Journal on training while pregnant. One of the main points is that there is no perfect answer for everyone. Yes, you'll scale and reduce intensity, but that looks different for each individual. You can read the stories of three women that trained while pregnant and all had very different experiences. Pregnancy: Perspectives for Trainers

Oh, and in case you didn't know, our very own Dr. Theresa Osmer is the Birthfit Regional Director for this area and is an amazing resource on pre and postnatal training.


Here's another great post from CrossFit Gymnastics demonstrating the power that can come from the hollow and arch positions. These are the same positions we use in our kipping swing to do pull ups, toes to bar, etc... Now, you don't need to start swinging around the bar, but check out the power that is possible!
