This is a long podcast from CrossFit, but if you have time give it a listen. Coach Mike Burgener is the weightlifting coach that started it all when it comes to CrossFit. He's the guy we model our barbell warm up after and he was one of the few resources for CrossFitters in the early days. He's a legend in the sport and an amazing person.
One of the best parts is when he tells the story of how he became a Marine. He wanted it so bad and even though it didn't come easy (injuries and other obstacles kept him out) he continued trying until he got where he wanted to be.
He's a true inspiration in weightlifting and in being a good person. Check it out!
