The CrossFit Open starts one week from Today! Get signed up now at the Games website and make sure you sign up under CrossFit 616!

Just a reminder that we will be doing the Open workout as a group on Saturday mornings this year. From 9:30 am to 11:30 am each week we will run heats of the Open workout. If you can’t make a Saturday morning you can do the Open workout during open gym time as long as you can find someone to judge you. The Open workout will NOT be the class workout on Friday or Monday this year. You have from Thursday night at 8 pm to Monday at 8 pm to do the workout and submit your score each week.

If you have never done the CrossFit Open it’s a great test of your fitness each year. You compete against CrossFitters from around the world and it gives you the chance to push yourself just a little more than you might on a day-to-day basis.

It’s also just a fun, community event at the gym each week. We get as many of you together as possible to take on these workouts and cheer each other on. Hopefully we will see you on Saturday mornings!
