“The shorter your sleep, the shorter your life.”

That’s a quote from the video below from sleep scientist Matt Walker. I posted a video a week ago about sleep quality, and this video is more about the importance of getting enough sleep.

The fact is that if you are not sleeping enough you are opening yourself up to a host of health problems, including cancer and cardiovascular disease.

Please watch the video for more on why sleep is so important to our health and some tips on how you can get better sleep.

And as he says in the video - it all comes down to this, “Sleep, unfortunately, is not an optional lifestyle luxury. Sleep is a non-negotiable, biological necessity.”
