Two snatches from two of the best in the world - both won the World Championship in their weight class last year. These to have very different bodies, but you'll notice their technique looks very similar.

Of course there are some small differences. There limb lengths aren't the exact same proportions and some countries have different styles. But in the end, the basics are always the same.

Weightlifting can be a lot like nutrition. Get the basics down really well and you'll be just fine. If you are trying to take things to the next level there are some tiny details you can start to focus on, but ONLY after you get the basics.

It's so easy to get caught up in the minutiae of nutrition like worrying about what supplements to take instead of just eating more vegetables. You can do the same in weightlifting where you might focus on the one athlete pulling his feet higher off the ground. But in the end, that's not what makes him a great lifter.

It doesn't matter what you body type is (yes, you can have a belly and be a great lifter), if you get the fundamentals of the lift down, you can lift heavy weights. Hopefully seeing this comparison helps you see that.
