We’re practicing rowing today because we can all use a little help getting more efficient on the rower. If you’re new to CrossFit and aren’t familiar with the rowing machine and positions, check out the video below. Position matters in rowing as much as any lift with a barbell. Slow down and fix your technique and you’ll get much faster down the road.

And what better way to celebrate your rowing technique than participating in CrossFit Lake Effect’s Row-4-Dough to benefit Special Olympics. There is a sign up sheet at the gym for the team of 10 people that will row a marathon together on Saturday, October 26. You can join the 616 team here.
